All Levels No Gi Instructor

Shane Rogers was born and raised in Enumclaw Washington. He joined the Marine Corps in 2013 and in 2018 he ended his enlistment and moved to Richmond Virginia. Shane currently attends Virginia Commonwealth University, studying Supply Chain Management and Analytics. Shane began training martial arts in 2016 in North Carolina and joined Upstream in December 2018. He competes frequently, regularly getting gold and silver in weight and absolute both on the local circuit and at IBJJF events. Shane enjoys learning and discovering new Jiu Jitsu techniques, which he is eager to pass on to Upstream students. Shane received his purple belt from Seph Smith in June 2020.
