Upstream BJJ Summer Belt Promotion
This past Thursday, 7/15, Upstream BJJ gained two new brown belts and one new blue belt. Instructors and active competitors Nora and Phil were promoted to brown belt, while Anmol was promoted to blue belt. Congratulations everyone and keep up the good work!
New blue and purple belt at Upstream BJJ
Yesterday 12/20, Upstream BJJ head coach Seph Smith had the pleasure of moving two students up in rank - Jacob to blue belt and Phil to purple belt. Both of these students have been strong forces on the local competition scene as well in IBJJF tournaments. We are so proud of their hard work and they have definitely earned these new belts!

Great strides for Upstream at the IBJJF Charlotte Open!
Upstream BJJ blue belt Carsyn Nash took home silver this past weekend at the IBJJF Charlotte Open. This was one of her first gi tournaments and her first IBJJF gi tournament. She has made great progress and we are excited to see what she will do next. We are so proud of you Carsyn!
